About the Author

Lamont Williams

Lamont Williams is a science writer with almost 30 years of experience in communications across the fields of medicine, health policy, biology, and physics. His work has earned him “Distinguished” and “Excellence” awards from the Society for Technical Communication.

In 2010, he published The Greatest Source of Energy—A New Theory of Time, a book that reimagines time as an active energy field that is fully consistent with both relativity and quantum theory. Lamont presents a bold new perspective on one of physics’ greatest mysteries—how to combine general relativity and quantum mechanics—by exploring this possible link between them.

A New Jersey native and Rutgers University graduate, Lamont now resides in the Washington, D.C., metro area.

Since childhood, Lamont has been fascinated by space, time, and energy. The more he explored these subjects, the more he questioned the nature of time itself. Could time be more than just a measurement or dimension? Could it hold energy? As he connected ideas from classical physics and quantum mechanics, a bigger picture emerged that became the foundation of his book.
